Branch Drain: Part of the fixture connected to the primary drain pipeline.
Clog: When something is impeding the free flow of water through your pipe.
Fitting: Either end part of a pipe that connects it to another part.
Fixture: Another word for the faucet assembly and related parts.
Flow Rate: This is the rate that water freely flows through a pipe. It is typically measured in gallons per minute (GPM) or per hour (GPH).
Gallons per Flush (GPF): This refers to the amount of water needed to flush a toliet. In the United States, 1.6 GPF is the maximum GPF for newly installed toilets.
P Trap: A U-shaped plumbing pipe commonly installed under sinks.
Trap Seal: The water in a P trap that serves as a liquid seal or boundary for gas or other substances.
